Johnnetta Anderson

Johnnetta Anderson serves as the Director of Quality/Compliance for Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia & the CSRA. Johnnetta has nine years of experience as a senior level manager and five years of experience as an educator at the university level. She is a graduate of Georgia College and State University, the University of Arizona, and Mercer University where she earned her BA, MFA, and MBA degrees respectively. Earlier in her career, Johnnetta worked as a professional theatre actress for several years. Johnnetta grew up as an Air Force dependent and was raised in part in Georgia, South Carolina, California, and Germany. Johnnetta is a charter member of the MACON NORTH ROTARY CLUB and was a member of the ad hoc committee to create the club. Johnnetta has served the Uptown Macon Rotary as their first Club Administrator, Sergeant At Arms, President Elect, and President. She also serves on the Board of the Red Cross of Central Georgia and is a graduate of Leadership Macon, class of 2008. Johnnetta enjoys theatre, reading, travel, and spending time with her family. Johnnetta looks forward to continuing to find ways to be of service to her community.



Peter Bagley BA, MA, MS

Peter was born in Woodstock, NB Canada in 1966 to the Rev. Milton Bagley and his Nurse wife, Patricia: in 1971 Peter's parents accepted a position giving oversight to a mission boarding school in the Transkei homeland in South Africa. Peter's formative years in South Africa have had a significant impact on his social conscience and on his global perspective. During his early years he was exposed to, and deeply impacted by, the ugliness of apartheid, social injustice, poverty, and racial bigotry. His last two years in Africa were spent in what is now Zimbabwe during the final two years of their civil war which led to their independence. In 1980 Peter's family returned to North America where he completed high school then an undergraduate degree at Kingswood University in Sussex, NB


Canada. Upon graduating in the Spring of '88 Peter was married to his college sweetheart Patty and began working in the Meat Packing industry where he stayed for six years before accepting an appointment to pastor a small town church in Amherst Nova Scotia.

Peter was ordained 1996 and after five years in that first pastoral assignment moved to Indianapolis where he served for ten years as a staff pastor focused on Child and Family ministries. In 1999 he successfully completed his Master's degree in ministerial leadership (with a focus on adolescent development) and accepted an offer to become COO and Executive Director of the Hephzibah Children's Home in Macon, GA. Peter is currently finishing up a second Masters Degree, this one in Human Services Administration from Lubbock Christian University. Peter is a member of the Macon North Rotary club, volunteers regularly with Bibb county Juvenile Justice Citizen’s Panel Reviews, and is a regular blood donor. Peter's interests include golf, hiking, water sports, rugby and football, American and World history, literature, photography, philately, and community service. Peter and Patty are the proud parents of Benjamin (‘89), Bridgett (‘91), and Rachel (‘92), and grandparents to Micah (’14).

Alyson McGoldrick Cozart

Alyson is a 5th generation Maconite and graduate of Stratford Academy. She then went on to the University of Georgia where she received her BBA in Finance and later received her MBA from Georgia College & State University. Alyson has been in banking for nine years and is currently a Business Banker with CertusBank. She and her husband, John, have two children: Henry and Anna Blayne. Alyson is a Past President of the MACON NORTH ROTARY CLUB, serves on the board for Central Georgia Autism, is a member of the Junior League of Macon and of Vineville United Methodist Church.

I grew up in a military family with frequent moves but moved to Warner Robins in 1988 and have stayed in Middle Georgia ever since.

Professionally, I worked was a Promotions & Administrative Assistant for 99 WAYS Radio and AM 940 for several years and then as an Account Executive at Cox Media for 11 years.  After becoming a mother, I decided to be a full-time stay-at-home mom until starting to work at The Park Group in 2013.  

I am married to Alex with one son, Nicholas "Nico".  We enjoy sports activities and travelling as a family.


My previous volunteering included many years on the Board and volunteering with United Cerebral Palsy in Macon, and assisting with Publicity for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Currently, I enjoy volunteering at my son's school in Byron and being an active member at Berean Baptist Church.  I look forward to my making new friends and helping more in the community at a part of Rotary Macon North.

Mark grew up in England, Japan, China, Colorado, New York and Massachusetts. He went to school at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he received his BA in Biochemistry, and MBA, MS Telecommunications. Mark is the SVP of Finance at State Bank and Trust. Mark is a Past President of Uptown Rotary. He is the father of two daughters and one son and attends Vineville Methodist Church. Mark is also active with Ultimate Frisbee, Adventure Racing, Jogging and Triathlons.

Cal is a Graduate of Georgia Tech & 3rd generation of family to run the business- Hays Service,LLC. He led the way to join the Linc Service® network, which provides a proactive model to insure owning & operating cost for buildings and industrial facilities are maximized. Married to Sharon Hinson and have six children, four boys and two girls ranging in age from 14 to 32 years old. Also have two grandchildren,Carter and Riley Hays. Was one of the charter members of Downtown Rotary Club of Macon before becoming charter member of Uptown Rotary in 2005.





April Hornsby

April is a native of Macon, Georgia and an alumna of First Presbyterian Day School and Mercer University. She is a partner and CPA with Howard, Moore & McDuffie, P.C. April is a past Treasurer of Houston County Habitat for Humanity. She has served as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels of Macon and Bibb County and is also a graduate of the Leadership Macon class of 2010. She currently serves on the board of directors with the Macon Film Festival and United in Pink.

Edward Judie, Jr. is a retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major who served 26 years in combat arm units. Of those 26 years, Mr. Judie served 15 years in Special Operations with the U.S. Army Rangers. Mr. Judie is currently the Deputy-Superintendent of Student Affairs in the Bibb County School District.

Mr. Judie earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Regent College, Albany, N.Y., his Master's degree in Education from Troy State University of Alabama, a teaching certificate from Saint Martin's University and his administrative certificates from City University of Seattle. Mr. Judie is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from City University of Seattle.

Mr. Judie has taught children in alternative learning environments and implemented strategies for developing alternative programs in both Washington State and Georgia.


Mr. Judie is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., a Member of Phi Delta Kappa, an active Rotarian since 2006, A Paul Harris Fellow of Macon North Rotary Club; he has previously served on the board of directors for Clover Park Rotary in Washington State and many other professional educational organizations.

He is married to Retired SFC Joyce Judie, who is a retired teacher in Bibb County. Both are combat veteran and have a combine service of 46 years in the U.S. Army. The Judies' have five children and six grandchildren.

Kimberly has been Director of Marketing and Sales Carlyle Place since 1998.Kimberly holds a Masters in Family Studies from Mercer University School of Medicine and prior to working at Carlyle Place she was a Marriage and Family Therapist.

In addition, Kimberly is a Certified Marketing Professional and a Certified Aging Services Professional and holds a Green Belt in Lean and Six Sigma. Kimberly also serves on the Macon Symphony Board and the American Cancer Society Board.

Susan Milam

Susan is club director for Uptown Rotary and was a member of Macon Rotary before joining Uptown in 2009. Susan received her BA from California State University, East Bay and MA from Wesleyan College. She is certified in Program Evaluation, Applied Communication and Leadership and Management. She was published in California Career Journal, “Non Traditional Careers,” and “The Effect of After School Programs on Mathematics Performance in Elementary School Children.” Susan worked in education for 40 years. She is alum of Leadership Macon and currently is a member of Career Women's Association and P. E. O. a philanthropic educational organization where she currently serves as president of chapter Q, and on the Georgia State Cottey College committee. She is past president of Middle Georgia Pi Delta Kappa, California Association of Regional Occupational Programs, Tri-Valley California School Employees Association, California Career Education Association, and Vice President of Middle Georgia AAUW. Susan is a member of Vineville Baptist Church and the mother of three children, Dr. Chip Milam, Los Angeles, Shane Milam with Mercer University and Liz Milam with St. Peter Claver Cathohlic School and grandmother of Hugh, Maddie, Hannah and Annalise Milam. She currently works for JEJ Artist.

Gigi Rolfes

Gigi is the Executive Director of Volunteer Macon, since 1999. She received her Certification in Volunteer Administration in 2002and serves as a member of the Leadership Faculty of the Hands On Network, a Master Trainer for the Points of Light Institute. Her experience before the Volunteer Center includes director of a substance abuse prevention program, a director of a voter education program and several community and civic leadership positions. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Leadership Macon and Leadership Georgia. Gigi and her husband Palmer (Macon Rotary member) have three sons; Nash, Quinn, (Uptown Rotary member) and Preston and is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Dr. Kendra Russell

Serves as Associate Professor and Director of the Macon Graduate Center at Georgia College. She completed her BSN and MSN in Nursing Administration at Georgia College and Doctorate in Nursing at Georgia State University, Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Russell's clinical background is in neonatal intensive care and pediatrics. Dr. Russell's research focus is in maternal/infant outcomes and she has published and presented her research at local, state, national, and international conventions. She has 7 years of administrative experience serving as a RN-BSN program coordinator, department chair – undergraduate nursing, and assistant director of nursing. Dr. Russell is actively involved in her community through the graduate chapter in her sorority and the Communities of Shalom initiative in Macon. A 2009 Leadership Macon Graduate and a 2010 USG Executive Leadership Institute Scholar, Dr. Russell enjoys yoga practice. Member of the MACON NORTH ROTARY CLUB since 2011.





Ashley Sillay

Ashley was born in Milledgeville, Georgia and attended The University of Georgia where she received a Bachelor's degree in English. She then lived on the North Carolina coast for three years, earning a Master's degree in English and serving as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. She published her thesis on Edgar Allan Poe upon graduation. From there, Ashley enrolled in Mercer's Walter F. George School of Law. While in law school, Ashley worked as a summer clerk at Jones, Cork and Miller, LLP, as a researcher for the Knight Foundation, and as a research assistant to Professor Linda D. Jellum. She also began co-writing a paper for publication with law Professor Sarah Gerwig on the use of eastern philosophy as a possible solution to the various crises plaguing lawyers. After graduating in May 2013, Ashley took and passed the July bar exam and was sworn in on November 7th. She is currently a sole practitioner and is married to John Sillay, a fellow attorney and Rotarian.





John Sillay

John Sillay was born in Marietta, Georgia and attended The University of the South: Sewanee where he received a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. From Sewanee, John enrolled in Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law. While in law school, John worked with the Legal department of State Bank and Trust Company as a Legal Intern. After graduating in May and taking the Bar exam in July, John joined State Bank full-time. John is pleased to report that he has passed the bar and, after being sworn in on November 7 th , he will assume the role of Associate Counsel with State Bank. John is married to Ashley Sillay, who is also a soon-to-be attorney.

Max grew up in Forest Park, GA and received his BA in History from LaGrange College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia. He is the Chief Administrative Law Judge in the Office of State Administrative Hearings. Max is President Elect of Uptown Rotary. He is married to Suzanne and they are the proud parents of Frank, Sydney and Jamey. Max and his family attend Martha Bowman United Methodist Church. Max is also a member of the American Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East.
